More Than a Million Research/Consulting Program
ETM Associates and Kutztown University College of Business are Seeking Candidates for More Than a Million* Improvement Programs
- Would you have any interest in finding a way to increase your sales, increase your productivity, or increase your funding?
- Can you place a numeric value on what you want to improve?
- Is it a major increase?
If you are a leader who is tackling a major improvement project, please consider becoming part of a research program being conducted this summer. We are seeking leaders who are dedicated to improving their own organizations (both for-profit and not-for-profit) for long-term success. After sifting through all the candidates who have applied and identifying those who qualify, we will choose twenty leaders from twenty different organizations.
If you would like to see if you are qualified for the program, click here.
If you have any questions, please give us a call at 484-332-3331 to make an appointment to discuss the program.
How Does The Research Work?
Five of the chosen organizations will be assigned to "Group I", the group that undergoes an in-depth assessment of their leadership capabilities, their strengths and weaknesses as an organization, and an assessment of the marketplace they are in. The consulting group works with the organization for a year. Five organizations will be assigned to "Group II", the group that also undergoes some of the in-depth assessments, but leaders in this group are left to their own devices to accomplish the goals laid out. The final group is the control group. They will be chosen as matching organizations in size, industry, characteristics, and goals to the ten organizations assigned to a research group. Although they will have stated their goals, they will not be given any assessments or provided any support, but will be free to put into place any program they wish on their own.
At the end of the year, researchers will conduct a program evaluation with all organizations, identifying whether or not the organizations achieved their goals. We will also identify what went well (and what didn't).
If chosen, depending upon which group an organizations is assigned, there may be some fees associated with being part of the program. Only 20 organizations of those qualified will be invited to participate.
What Is Meant By More Than A Million?
*"More Than a Million" is not meant to indicate a specific number, but rather an indication that we are seeking organizations who want to improve by a lot. The "million" can be orders, products, minutes, hours, sales dollars, receivable dollars, donated dollars - anything which can be measured objectively by some number. Nor does the million have to improve within the time frame of a single year or single project, but is meant to connote a long-term view of however your organization measures success.
